Did you know that we have another amazing Novice project going on? This project started putoriginally when our NvC. Sister Gay B*tch Milkshake saw a need for plus sized clothes for the Gender Play area at Rainbow Café. She took it upon herself going through an amazing transformation of her own to go out and collect clothes to help fill the closet (so to speak) and it just grew! Through donations from all over our amazing NvC. Sister Gay B*tch Milkshake has managed to collect and distribute clothing to the Carbondale Warming Shelter as well as the Center for Empowerment and Justice.

We are excited to be able to start announcing our projects that our Sisters are doing. First up is Nvc. Sr. Jewnita Hug. Over the holiday they took on the arduous task of organizing their crafting closet and discovered a surplus of yarn (like 6 totes worth!...we know we know) and their knitting machine. With this their Novice project was born. For the next year they are making hats to donate to the Carbondale Warming Center and The Center of Empowerment and Justice. Given this Sister's crafty ingenuity we are sure to see some great and warm items flying off the table soon.
