A busy hoe is a happy hoe
What we've been up to
Sister Fagatha Hardness, Sister Gay B)*$h Milkshake, Sister SalaciousScuttlebutt and Sister Mothra decided to strut their stuff all over and at the Rainbow Variety Show, a show put on by Rainbow Café to raise money so they can keep doing the amazing work they do in Southern IL for the community and youth!
Sister Gay Bitch Milkshake sang their heart out to a Dirty Wench tune with Sister Fagatha, Scuttles and Mothra as back up dancers screaming with all their gay spiritual conviction HOE! As the song progressed! Sister Mothra did a wonderful job MCing for the show! They invited such talent onto the stage as Author Raf Frumpkin, whose first book is being made into a series on Starz, they read from passages from their book, Confidence! Sister Mothra and Sister Scuttles sang their hearts out while the audience got to listen to Sister Scuttles divine musical talent on the piano. Mothra sang passionately, giving most singers a run for their money! Shane Bruce and Pat York sang a song they wrote about Rainbow Café that was lovely to the ears. Curt Wilson played the Sitar so well it brought a sense of wonder to the audience Elana Floyd-Kennet also sang their heart out, Kamea Rhine tap danced the night away, Jackie sang some original songs that were so beautiful and Kamrah who is an activist in Chicago as well as a dancer who mesmerized the audience with their fluidity and graceful dances. The Event was a huge success, and the SOIL Sisters were proud to be able to perform for the audience and help out any way we could! Thank you Rainbow Café for the wonderful work you do and these Dirty Hoes were proud to be a part of the show! Thank you to all the wonderful performers who helped out and showcased their talent. Last night would not have been a success without all of your wonderful talent and generous spirits! Sister Marjorie Arcana and Sister Jewnita Hug got to live out their most exquisite Prom dreams this Saturday night at MTUG’s event Glow Up Prom! These Sisters pulled up to the double doors (and heating spot off to the side) and were immediately taken aback by how beautiful the Hotel was! Those Sister knew they needed to get to work to make sure guests felt comfortable and excited. They did this by Street walking of course! (What else would dirty hoes do….)
They spent some time outside helping folks find their way to prom! While, waiting for folks to come by, Sister Marjorie did some twirls in the parking lot and Sister Jewnita did their best Praise the Sun pose under the warming lamps! Sister Mothra would have been jealous those lights were bright and we know Sister Mothra loves some good lighting! Sister Jewnita also made best friends with the parking attendant! (They were awesome!) Also, they may have found a new romantic partner in the statue by the doors! Sister Marjorie almost had to tell them to get a room, or at least find a porta potty! When those dirty hoes went inside and rode the elevator up to the prom, they were immediately taken aback by how beautiful everything was and how joyful the event was. It was very much a pretty woman moment for them! Dj Daddy WhoreBucks was pumping the beat and the guests were all dressed to the 10s! After Savoring a few moments of the prom the Sisters got to work helping to check coats and belongings in, making sure everyone’s coats and items were safe and secure while they partied the night away! Thank you June Choate, Ramona Riley, Alex Gray and all the amazing folks at MTUG for not only throwing one of THE best Prom events these Dirty Hoes have ever been to but also for successfully creating a safe organized space where EVERYONE felt safe and had a good time, including the volunteers and these Sisters. That’s not an easy thing to do and you all did it Flawlessly! Please be proud of yourselves. Sister Marjorie and Sister Jewnita felt honored to be there and were thrilled to be able to help and partake in Glow Up Prom! We are excited to be working with MTUG they absolutely have the best interest of community at heart. Sister Marjorie decided to invade Missouricon with the Gateway City Ghostbusters today! Her mission was clear, prove to a crowd of folks dressed up as their favorite characters that drag queens aren't out to get them or their children. While of course making sure she didn't get stuck in a bathroom stall again. Mission was an absolute success! She met a wide range of folks, shared some love and ever cheered folks on as they competed in the costume contest. Both children, teens and adults alike! She got to meet with authors and artists, cosplayers and vendors of all ages and guess what? NO ONE LOST THEIR SOULS BECAUSE THEY MET HER NOR WERE THEY HURT IN ANY CAPACITY BECAUSE SHES A DRAG QUEEN. WE ARE SHOOKETH. I guess drag artists and queens really aren't that scary perverted or dangerous huh? Sister Marjorie's biggest mission and motto is representation matters always and the more people and families see folks like us, they safer the environment for everyone becomes because they realize we aren't a threat. Her favorite memory of today was walking into the lobby and being met by three teenage boys and their mom. The boys were excited, they complimented Sister Marjorie and they were so excited to take pictures with them. When the mom turned around to see what the commotion was about, she got confused at first but then allowed them to pose for pictures with Sister Marjorie. The boys even did jazz hands! The mother then came up to Sister Marjorie and they all took a selfie together, she learned who the Sisters were and she was able to join in on the fun! That family went towards the elevator happy and the teenagers kept waving and saying how cool it was to meet a drag nun! Representation matters. Sister Toggaf with Sister Mothra, and Sister Fagatha decided to spill ALL the tea for Sister Toggafs 21st birthday! Sister Toggaf made the sweet decision to spend their birthday collecting tea and blankets for the Carbondale Warming Center to help folks out who struggle with being outside during the extreme cold spells we have been having.
Sister Toggaf looked STUNNING in their dress and crown and collected a lot of tea and blankets to give to the needy. Of course, there was dancing, music, and some super yummy cake! Sister Toggaf served all through the night in fashion and charity works. Sister Fagatha looking stunning as always and helped facilitate the event and kept safe space for the people who danced the night away. Sister Mothra served a legendary look that night while doing the same! Fluttering around making sure all were comfortable and accounted for. Yall, no one spills the tea like the SOIL Sisters and last night was a night to remember! Thank you, Sister Toggaf, for spending your birthday evening helping out folks in need. You slayed while doing so in deed, look and spirit! Happy Birthday Sister Toggaf! The SOIL Sisters manifested to support the Empowerment Center's event, Taste of Chocolate Friday evening! Sister SalaciousScuttlebutt, Sister Gay B)(*^ Milkeshake, Sister Mothra Stewart and guests of the House William and Sister Einig threw on their fanciest dress clothes and got all pretty once they heard chocolate and supporting a good cause was involved!
The event helped to raise money for the Empowerment Center so they can continue their mission of providing shelter and resources to the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Very important work and the SOIL Sisters were honored to help out and represent! The Sisters may be chocolate wasted at this point but they savored every moment of it! Thank you to the Empowerment Center for inviting us out to Taste of Chocolate, may your work continue and be blessed and thank you for everything you do for the community and beyond! Sister Scuttles, Oma Gina, and William Bedford fed the students at The Newman Catholic Student Center following the 5:15 mass on Thursday!
The menu was a savory casserole with potatoes, bacon, and cheese, which would work for breakfast with a few tweaks. The desert was chocolate cupcakes with strawberry icing. I'm sure that Sister Scuttles will feed the students once more before the end of the semester, and she'll probably have Oma and William's help. |
