Have a holly, jolly Queermas.  It's the best time of the year.

Last night we celebrated the 3rd (technically 4th but darn Covid!) Queermas at the Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship, hosted by Rainbow Café. For a few hours we enjoyed the company of those in our community both known and unknown to us. Our wonderful satellite Sisters joined us in spreading joy and cheer to everyone there. It was a truly magical and amazing evening. Our very own Sr. Gay Bitch Milkshake even somehow managed to win "Most Queer" in the Ugly Sweater Contest without even wearing a sweater!
This was a perfect way for us to round out 2021..sharing food and fellowship with our community. Thank you to Rainbow Cafe for being a safe space for community, thank you CUF opening your doors and providing us a safe space within your many many many walls but most importantly thank you to the wonderful members of our community who made this evening what it was.
We were even able to spread additional joy after Queermas as Sr. Jewnita Hug and Sr. Gay Bitch Milkshake took the remaining uneaten food to the Carbondale Warming Center to he served to the homeless and underhoused members of our community. Many hearts and stomachs were filled that night.
